鈥o incite discussion around environmental, ecological and social issues around the locally occurring Ocean and Ocean Bound plastics found across Uist.
鈥o facilitate the gathering of ocean plastics.
鈥o provide the opportunity to process and recycle ocean plastics using professional machinery. 聽
鈥o create useful designed objects that speak of the materiality of this sadly abundant local resource.
Gathering of Ocean and Ocean Bound plastic.
A practical workshop on how to safely recycle plastics culminating in the production of a designed object by each participant.
If weather permits, a beach clean walk at the nearby beach might be included.聽
